Litratong Pinoy: Hardin (Garden)

Gardens in Baguio City are always amazing to look at. The colors of the leaves and flowers in gardens here are brighter than what I have at home. Probably, it's because of their cool climate. How I wish I can also grow flowers like what they have here. The afternoon sun shines on my garden that is why I cannot just grow plants that will not withstand the heat.

The pictures I posted here were all taken at Good Shepherd Convent in Baguio City. The place is just a walking distance away from the house where we frequently stay every time we visit the City of Pines. Their garden is quiet and provides a place for meditation. The Stations of The Cross are also in the garden so it is an ideal place of prayer and meditation.

It is the first time that I saw the plant in the last picture. I figure that it is a relative of the pine tree. Don't you find the colors beautiful?

Gardens in Baguio City are absolutely beautiful. To make your garden stand out and to add something special to liven up the way your garden looks check out some of the outdoor garden fountains at Kinetic Fountains. Kinetic has been the leader in fountains for over 10 years.
