Litratong Pinoy: Kahel (Orange)

This shot was taken during our boat ride in the Manila Ocean Park last April 2008. Riders are required to wear the life jacket. They do not need to remind us, though. I have a phobia with boat rides because the boat we were riding on in Boracay back in 2001 capsized. We were on a snorkeling trip around the Puka Beach area. All of us riding the boat fell in the water. I was not wearing a life jacket then but I knew how to swim so I was able to keep my son's head above water. I was grateful that my mom and my aunt, who both did not know how to swim, were wearing life jackets.

Feel free to view my other entry in my photo blog.
