Visual Talking: A Fun Way of Writing Sentences

Here's a fun way of saying what you want. When words get in the way, say it with pictures. Visual Talking is a site where you can make sentences out of pictures and send it to your friends' emails.

Hair, Beautiful Hair

I have been having bad hair days, literally. I need a rebond session as soon as my time and budget permits. The last time I had a hair treatment was in September of last year. For now, I just to D-I-Y hair treatments to make my mane a little more tame.

Here's recent dNeero conversation that focused on hair.

I remember a classmate of mine back in elementary who had really thick and long hair. She told me that her mom uses egg white as a hair conditioner. My grandmother, on the other hand, did not use shampoo but gugo and sabila. I haven't tried these techniques yet as I find them very inconvenient.

How do you care for your crowning glory? Are traditional hair care treatments inconvenient for you, too?

Twitter and You Tube Together?

Are you so much into Twitter? Actually, I am not. I prefer plurking over twitting. However, I think buzzTrendz may pull me back to Twitter a little more than usual. buzzTrendz is a new player in the social networking world. It combines the most recent twits with related videos. True enough, when I visited the page that contained American Idol twits, I was able to watch a video of Kris Allen having a homecoming concert in Arkansas!

Twittering Again

I almost totally abandoned Twitter just a month after I signed up. Well, one of the reasons why I have chosen Plurk over Twitter is that I can update my plurks through PhPlurk. When I started with Twitter back in July, I can still send mobile twits through phtwitter. Two weeks after that, Twitter decided that they cannot allow free sms updates anymore from other countries outside US and Canada. Another reason is that I liked Plurk's timeline style of updating. The responses are also more organized and most of my plurks end up like chatting with my plurkmates.

Just recently, I got back to twittering all because of my love for Chico and Delamar of RX 93.1's The Morning Rush. It's a routine for me to catch them on air from 6 to 10 in the morning. Since they opened their lines to Twitter a few weeks ago, I found it more convenient to greet them or post my responses to the daily Top Ten through twittering. In fact, yesterday, I twitted my response to "The Top Ten Moments When A Family Member Embarrassed You" and Chico got to read it on air!

Hollywood celebrities are using twitter, too. Below is a dNeero conversation about this.

I enjoyed reading Oprah's twits but I will need to find more courage before I can send her a twit. I heart Oprah! Who's your favorite twitting celebrity?

If I Were A Boy...

Have you ever tried making your own version of Beyonce's "if I Were A Boy"? Well, I did. I am the only girl in our household and living with my boys sometimes makes me wish they would be a little sensitive to our needs. Here's one: "If I were a boy, even just for a day, I will not forget to raise the toilet seat when I take a leak." See what I mean?

The succeeding dNeero conversation focuses on Asian dNeeroites. See how big the population of Asians has become in dNeero.

I did not expect that dNeero will be a great venue to express my thoughts. What is more exciting is to discover that my initiated questions are being reacted upon by other dNeero-ites from around the globe! Join us and let your voice be heard!

Engage With Grace

This conversation is the most intimate that I have ever filled out for dNeero. This is the story of a woman who has lost a loved one to cancer and what her family had to go through because of the illness.

Engage With Grace: The One Slide Project is a slide with just five questions on it. It serves as a tool to get people talking about end of life experience. We are asked to share the slide to everyone, anytime and anywhere. Get others involved. Help ensure that all of us – and the people we care for – can end our lives in the same purposeful way we live them.
