Online Fax Service

My husband and I are quite excited to be starting a business by May this year. We're actually planning to start an internet shop since he's in IT and I'm in the online writing business. We're fortunate to have found a place that's just a few blocks away from home and is just outside the village gate. Plus, the owner of the commercial area also lives in our village so we already had the opportunity to talk to them even during the early stages of construction of the place. We're still waiting for construction to be done this summer. The timing's just okay for me because with Rap staying home, I have more time to go out and deal with the business registration stuff.

Now, here's one dilemma. The people living near the area told us that we might not be able to get PLDT DSL as internet provider. We still have wireless broadband to back us up. What I'm really disappointed about if this happens is that I will not be able to have a landline number where I can hook up a fax machine so I can also offer fax services. Also, I have long wanted to have a fax machine for our personal needs. I researched faxing stats in the Philippines and the ratio is only 0.51 per 1000 Filipinos. In our village alone, not one commercial establishment offers fax services to their clients.

I'm looking into the possibility of getting an Online Fax Service provider but I'm not yet sure if there's already one available in the country. I hope I find one before we start our business this May.

Personalized What-Have-Yous

I love doing arts and crafts. Recently, I found a site where I was able to do photobooks and personalized gifts. I got hooked immediately which is bad news for my pockets, haha!

This mouse pad is one of the early projects I did. I actually crammed while doing it because I tried to finish it within the promo period. It didn't turn out bad, thank goodness!

I am actually thinking of making personalized stuff to give away as gifts this Christmas. Who knows? I may be making promotional items as a sideline business in no time. Not a bad idea eh?

Insider Secrets To Google AdWords

In this day and age, e-commerce should be part and parcel of every business. I'm glad that I have already successfully convinced most of my entrepreneur friends about this. Gone are the days when brand advertising is constrained to print, radio, and television. If you want ultimate business success, you would have to tap the Internet as one of your marketing media.

Insider Secrets to Google AdWords is a seminar that shares how to use Google AdWords to your business' advantage. Probably, you are wondering what Google AdWords is all about and how it can help you promote your business. Imagine an Internet user searching about something in Google, say "Manila restaurants." Once the SEARCH button is clicked, the relevant searches appear on the succeeding page, right? Do you notice the right side bar of the search page with the sponsored links in it? They're there because of Google AdWords. With Google AdWords, businesses appear in searches for keywords that are relevant to their products which translates to an effectively targeted audience.

But of course, not everyone of us are tech savvy entrepreneurs. This is why this one time event is held to help them discover the Insider Secrets to a Google-friendly Website. It will be held on June 24 and 25, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza in Robinson's Galleria. If you are a businessman and would like to expand your customer base online, you should not let this pass!

Online Selling Must Haves

A few months back, I planned to set up an online store where I can showcase and sell our old furniture, appliances, gadgets, and other stuff. I haven't put up one yet as I still do not have the time to set up the site. After the recent calamity that struck my family, I am thinking of pursuing this plan. We need extra cash to rebuild and restore what the flood has taken away.

I have seen a lot of Filipino online entrepreneurs use Multiply instead of setting up a self-hosted website. The site allows them to post their stocks and advertise them for free. I think that Multiply is useful especially to those who do not have huge stocks to sell. However, a seller who has so many wares to sell should not only set up its own site but to avail of a ecommerce fulfillment service provider. An ecommerce fulfillment provider will be the one in-charge of warehousing, record keeping, delivery, and customer service.

I think I will start with a Multiply site first and just see what happens next. I will need to learn the ropes with little risk first. I will let you know once I push through with my plans.

I have been in the E-loading Business for a year now. Medyo hassle ang pagkakaroon ng 3 separate retailer sims for Smart, Globe, and Sun loading. Kaya nakita ko ang convenience ng Iconex. Mas dumami pa ang products ko. This is perfect even for those of you who do not have a store. Kahit sa bahay lang, classmates o sa mga ka-officemates lang pwede na.

So what are you waiting for? Be an Iconex Dealer/Retailer now! :)
