Litratong Pinoy: Imposible Ba Ito?

Imposible nga bang maipatong ang ulo ng isang buhay na tao sa isang plato ng mga prutas? Sa tulong ng syensya, walang imposible. Optical illusion ang tawag dito.

Kuha ito sa aming pagbisita sa Philippine Science Centrum nitong nakaraang buwan. Tatlong paa lang meron ang mesang iyan at ito ay napalilibutan ng mga salamin. May daanan sa likod kung saan pwedeng maitago ang katawan habang nakalusot sa butas ng mesa at ng plato ang ulo. Nakakatuwa ano? Marami pang akala mo'y imposible pero nagagawang posible ng syensya. Kaya kung may panahon kang mamasyal sa Marikina, bumisita ka sa Philippine Science Centrum.

Is it really impossible to put a living human head on a fruit platter? With the help of science, almost nothing is impossible.

This photo was taken when we visited the Philippine Science Centrum last month. The table only has three posts and the sides are surrounded with mirrors. There's a space behind the table where the body is hidden while the head is slid through the hole and on top of the fruit platter. Awesome, don't you think? There are also other "impossible" feats that science has made possible in this museum. So if you are in the vicinity of Marikina City, do take time to visit the Philippine Science Centrum.
