Last month, we celebrated my parents' 61st birthday bay having lunch with my siblings and swimming in the village pool after. My sister brought this towel for my niece to use. Apparently, it's a gift from the States. I found it so cute that even Rap had his picture taken wearing it even when it's already too small for him.

I've started searching for this towel or something similar last weekend at the SM Megamall sale but to no avail. I so want to buy a few pieces to give as gifts. I'm running out of unique christmas gift ideas and I don't want to be the boring ninang who always gives books at Christmas, hahaha!

I'm gonna wear these ears this Halloween!

Aren't they cute? I found them over at Toy Kingdom Express for only Php 49.75. I don't normally dress up for Trick or Treat but this year coincided with my niece's first birthday and I need to join the gang, so to speak. At least, I wasn't required to go around looking for cheerleader costumes for adults , right?

No treats, just tricks for us living the sugar-free life so let's make it a blast! Hope you enjoy your Halloween!

The second season of The Walking Dead is gonna be shown starting October 16, 2011 in the US. My husband and I are such fans and we watched all 7 episodes of the first season. I seldom watch thrillers and horror flicks but this one really made me a convert.

In Season 2, Rick Grimes, his family, and the other survivors continue their journey to Fort Benning after the explosion of the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. I expect that the group's going to have a thrilling cat and mouse chase with the zombies again not to mention the drama that will ensue between the characters.

Sadly, my cable network provider doesn't provide the channel where this series is shown. I may just look for a site where I can download videos of the show for the meantime. I can't afford to be left behind on the latest about The Walking Dead!

For me, a healthy deal is one that would benefit my health without sacrificing my budget. Being diabetic, I have meds to maintain which our medical insurance doesn't cover. Thus, I'm always on the lookout for affordable healthy deals. That's why I'm glad that I discovered Healthy Deals Philippines.

I have this recurring numbness in my right arm. Before, I used to think that it was only because of my bout with carpal tunnel syndrome which I wrote about back in June. The shooting pain has long gone because I bought and wore a wrist brace for some time but the numbness remained. It was one of the reasons why my husband and I took a trip to Banahaw Heals Spa Cainta which was near our place plus the fact that we both needed a massage.

Since they're both fair-skinned, I immediately noticed the black and blue cup marks on their backs after their trip to the spa. Cathy, my husband's first cousin, told me that the darker circles are the muscles that are most stressed.

I'm glad that our massage therapists suggested that we avail of the ventosa cupping service since we only had to add Php 150 each on top of our Php 275/hr massage service. Since our beds were just beside each other, I was able to watch the therapist placing drinking glasses on my husband's back. I also saw how his skin was slowly sucked in my the pressure brought by the flame in the glass. The glasses were left on our backs for 15 minutes. After that, our therapists proceeded with the massage.

I really enjoyed the massage that we had at Banahaw Heals Spa Cainta. We usually have our massages done at Nuat Thai in Taytay because of the Afternoon Delight promo (which was priced at Php 250/hr from 1-6pm) and because my husband is not very fond of massage oils. I, on the other hand, want to have a Swedish massage every now and then. The oil they used wasn't greasy either which was a 2 thumbs up for the husband's taste.

We immediately signed up for a lifetime family membership card (which cost Php 500) and promised our boy that he'll also have a massage session the next time we go back. Yes, they also offer massage sessions for kids. In fact, they have a student rate of Php 100/hr for a massage. Banahaw Heals Spa Cainta is just one of the many branches of Banahaw Heals Spa. I'm the happiest mommy in the world because my boy's grades for their first term are all 90 and above! As promised, we went to Circuit City at SM Megamall to have his PSP's housing replaced. Here's how it looks now:

From Champagne Gold, it now sports a black housing because there's no other color available in stock. It cost me 2K for the replacement. We asked around at St. Francis Square first before we went to Circuit City but the shops there quoted at least 1,500 for a Class A housing. What we got from Circuit City was an original Sony PSP housing so I think we still got a better deal. We still have to have the analog stick replaced, though. It still has the old one in place because only the buttons are included in the housing.

I thought that PSP housings would only cost a little higher than cell phone hard cases. Actually, I was only reserving a 500 bucks for that, hahaha! When I think about it, the 2K I spent is still cheap compared to the pride and happiness our boy brings us.
