House Blessing and Ralph's 7th Birthday

Our house was blessed (finally!) yesterday. Months before, we planned it to coincide with Ralph's seventh birthday. Yes, my baby's a big boy now. He's so looks like a binata now in the pictures. I'm kinda happy-sad about it.

This time, we decided to hire a caterer for the occassion. I am so busy with the school and the renovations and I knew I just couldn't cook for the celebration. Luckily, Rap's school service operator is also a caterer. We planned the menu just three days before the celebration. I just bought the cake, coke, and beer. I also prepared the pabitin and lootbags for the kids.

It was really hot yesterday. Well, at least it didn't rain as the weatherman forecasted. The food was enough for everybody (actually sobra pa nga eh) eventhough more than 50 guests arrived. My family was there minus Toto who attended his company's summer outing. Mama Babes sibling were in full force and I'm glad she looked happy that day. Close friends and other relatives also celebrated the day with us. Rap entertained them with his singing. Tita Net coaxed him to sing seven songs in a row to symbolize his seventh birthday.

I was so happy and, at the same time, proud yesterday. I still can't believe this house is ours. Our parents were also proud of our achievement and the fact that we were able to acquire this house this early. We can't thank the Lord enough for all of these blessings.

At Long Last!

We're now living in our own home. Mind you, it looks like a home now. Nung una kasi akala mo isang malaking bodega lang, hahaha! By the way, it's Rap's birthday on Sunday and also the blessing of our new home. This time, I hired a caterer instead of the initial plan that I will do the cooking. I want to look good on that day, no! And besides, I am really tired from work plus the cleaning and the arranging of the furnitures. I will post pictures of our home soon. :)

Now I know how busy one is when one is busy. Ang gulo no? Super busy. Uber Busy. Toxic. Aaaaarggggh! I am tired and I am starting to get sick but I am enjoying every minute of it.

By tomorrow we're moving out of this apartment that's been our abode for a year and will be living in our new home. It's ours! Sa wakas, natapos din. After all the problems and the conflicts with our @#$%^ developer, we'll be moving in at last. Totoo nga ang tsismis, sakit sa ulo ang pagpapagawa ng bahay. But it's all in the past now. What matters now is that the house is finished and beautiful as me! Hehehe!

I have also started teaching since the 16th of April. Mama and I started our tutorial center at Greenwoods. I am the sole teacher at the moment as we offered summer reading classes in the village. Come June, I'll be working with Ate Do, Lloyd, and Lucky (who will be taking up Education to our mother's delight!). We will also be offering Toddler Classes. I'll be the one to handle the Toddlers and the day tutorials. Lloyd will be teaching Math and Ate Do will be on night shift. I'll post pictures of my cute classroom when time permits.

Oh well, got to stop my fingers from typing. Got to finish packing!
